IntenseDebate - Imagine Better Comments?

Imagine Better Comments
My blog has changed platforms, addresses, and now comment systems. I implemented intense debate comments on my blog. Implement is kind of a strong word. I activated the Intense Debate plugin, entered my intense debate login information, and setup my blog on intensedebate.com.
I've went back and forth between Intense Debate and Disqus and I've decided to go with Intense Debate comments. There was a point where I was going to go with Disqus, but I just didn't get the warm and fuzzies when the Disqus wordpress plugin was installed. I also read several articles titled "Intense Debate vs Disqus."
I have been trying to find other web development or design blogs that use Intense Debate comments, but I have been unable to run into any of them. I have stumbled upon several of other types of blogs that have Intense Debate comments, but none of them are things that I would be inclined to comment on with the exception of the Intense Debate Blog.
If anyone can give me feedback on other web development or design blogs, I would greatly appreciate it. I would also encourage anyone to express their experiences and opinions about Intense Debate and Disqus.

Hey there! I have Intense Debate on my blog. I can tell that I have mixed feelings. Certain things break, and also it's not a 100% seamless integration between Wordpress, which is odd since it's made by Wordpress. :)
The biggest issue is synchronization and the fact that their moderation system is completely different. For example, prior to Intense Debate, I moderated only the first comment left by someone, and approved the rest. ID (intense debate) doesn't do that. Also, ID has a much smaller SPAM threshold, so you will have to check your SPAM frequently as it will consider almost anything SPAM.
DISQUS - I installed this a few months ago and immediately uninstalled it, because of a bug (known issue) where DISQUS could not import existing comments. It may be fixed now. That was a few months ago.
Are either of them worth it? Well, they package together things that can be done with other plugins, so in a sense, yes. But at the same time, it can be frustrating to change your entire comment system.
